Enabling SSL Traffic Inspection

This procedure should only be completed once the Group Policy Object has finished installing the Webroot SSL Certificates.

Note: SSL Inspection must be turned on for Web2.0 controls filtering.

To enable SSL traffic inspection:

  • In a web browser, enter the following URL:
    https://weblogin.webroot.com
  • Log in with your administrator credentials.
  • Click the Policies tab.

    • A list of policies displays.

  • Next to the policy for which you want to enable SSL Traffic Inspection, click the Edit button.
  • Under the Site Categories tab, select the Enable SSL Traffic Inspection checkbox.
  • Click the Save button at the top of the page.
  • Do either of the following:
    • Allow up to 15 minutes for the changes to take effect.
    • Restart the DWP software to force the changes to take effect immediately.
