WSS Getting Started Guide Overview

This document guides administrators that are new to Webroot's Web Security Service (WSS) on how to get started. WSS routes HTTP and HTTPS traffic through a globally distributed network of cloud based proxy servers, providing users with malware free, company approved, fully logged internet connectivity.

Here is a list of the steps that administrators need to perform to complete basic setup:

• Log in to the Management Portal
• Review and verify IP ranges
• Review and modify policy settings
• Deploying WSS to users
• Configure web traffic filtering.
• Modify policy settings and adjust filtering categories. This step is optional.
• Bypass web filtering for certain websites. This step is optional.
