Installing Desktop Web Proxy on Individual Workstations

Use the downloaded msi installation package to install DWP on individual workstations, or on a Terminal Service or Citrix server.

To install DWP on an individual workstation:

• Load the installation package on a desktop or laptop computer.
• Double-click one of the following installation files:
  • DWPSetup.msi
  • DWPSetup_NoUninstall.msi
• Follow the instructions in the DWP setup wizard. The system applies the settings to the browsers.
  Settings are not automatically applied to the browsers in either of these cases:
  • The Activate DWP on Install option on the Management Portal is set. If this option is not set, you can configure the browsers manually by right-clicking the DWP icon in the system tray and selecting Apply Proxy Setting.
  • The Apply portal settings to the DWP clients option is turned off at both the account and group levels. If the option is on at either the account or group level, the settings are applied.
